To be a church that is actively involved in God’s work of loving, healing, and reconciling, being committed to inviting all to know, love and follow Jesus through inspirational worship and a deep sense of our life together in Christ. 

Jesus says to us.

“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5: 14-16.  

Governance Overview

St. Mary’s is the Church of England Church in the Parish of Pulborough. It is a member of the Storrington Deanery and within the Diocese of Chichester. St. Mary’s is a registered charity and operates under a Parochial Church Council, under the chair of the incumbent, currently the reverend Canon Paul Seaman, two Churchwardens elected annually, Lay Readers, and eleven members of the congregation, each elected for a term of three years.
